Dimensions:
A handsome, reclaimed, arched oak door with a Gothic style appearance. The door has mortise and tenon joints and the front face of the door has plank detail and the top of the door is arched. There are two decorative Gothic style iron door straps with fleur-de-lys detail, an iron letter plate and there is a decorative iron pull handle and latch. There are decorative iron studs placed at the top, middle and base of the door. The back face of the door has a simple panel design. The door has two locks with keys. Please note: The door is no longer suitable for use as a front door as there is some movement in the panels. The door could now be used for a garage, shed or garden office or alternatively it could be used internally. Please contact us if you require further information about this.
The door is reclaimed and has some signs of use and wear, as expected. The oak has some small knocks, surface splits, marks and some colour variation to the hinge edge. The iron door furniture and hinges have some tarnish and surface rust. The base of the doors have some areas where filler is missing and a thin gap can be seen between joins. One plank has a small notch out of it at the base. The door width may need some slight levelling. One decorative iron stud is missing. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a handsome Gothic style appearance and it would be a useful and characterful item.
