A fantastic pair of solid hardwood, probably teak,Victorian school doors. The doors are properly made and are mortised and tenoned. The doors have flush panels at the base and six rectangular panes at the top of each door, ready for glazing. The doors are suitable for single pane glazing. We can glaze the doors for an EXTRA COST, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The doors have been stripped to bare wood and are ready for finishing by purchaser. The doors are antique and therefore have some signs of wear. Where the hardware has been removed and there are some marks, splinters and holes. The doors have some small chips and knocks to the edges and corners. We can patch repair the doors for an extra charge. There are some existing patch repairs to the base where there were door shoes for swing doors. As they were swing doors there is no rebate in the centre. There is a slight notch on the hinge edge of the doors right at the bottom where the shoe sat. See photo.
