A pair of fantastic reclaimed, church style, oak and pine doors and oak frame with a Gothic style arched top. The frame is solid oak and the doors have an oak planked front face mounted on to a chequered style pine frame which can be seen on the internal face. The doors have very ornate and attractive iron door straps with Gothic style scroll design. There are large iron hinges that attach to the internal face and the frame. The oak has been cleaned to bare wood and are ready for a finish to be applied by purchaser, with perhaps an external oil or varnish. The pine has a varnished finish. The doors are very well made and are very heavy and solid. The doors are reclaimed and therefore have some signs of use and wear. The doors have some rot to the base and will need some of the base removing to clear the rot. The height has been taken from the baton attached to the door as there is rot below this. There are some marks and scratches to the wood. The back face has some holes and marks where the door hardware has been removed. Some light knocks and chips to the edges and sides of the doors and frame can be seen. Some door hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. The doors have a very attractive design and their size and appearance would make a wonderful statement. The gothic style and the quality construction of the doors make them very desirable.
Frame height (from baton on base to top of arch) 270cm. Approximate due to the rot at base. Please contact us to check if you have very specific height requirements.
Frame width (outside edge to outside edge) 153cm
