A set of four tall, reclaimed, painted pine bifold room dividers. The dividers are very well made, with mortise and tenon joints and have a very nice appearance, each with 3 solid panels with moulded detailing. The dividers are the perfect size for a large room or perhaps for other interior projects such as very large cupboard doors. The dividers comprise of four sections, that open in the centre, with two on each side that are to be hinged together. The doors have rebated edges so they sit nicely together. Please note the dividers are currently separate and new hinges may be needed. The dividers do currently have solid panels but the top two panels of each section could be converted to accommodate glass. The sections could either have 2 glass panels per divider or the pine bar between the two top panels could be removed to make one larger glazing panel per divider. We can convert and glaze the dividers for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The dividers have been painted white but the paint has some cracks, chips and marks and purchaser may wish to sand and re-paint the dividers to suit. The room dividers are in good, solid, condition with some signs of wear and age, as expected of reclaimed items. There are some holes and marks from hardware removal and the dividers have some knocks and chips. One of the top panel mouldings has a crack and there is some splintering and chips to the divider bases. One corner has a notch out of it. Some hinges may need replacing as they have some cracks, breaks and surface rust. The divider heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The room dividers / bifolds have a very elegant appearance and are perfect for a period or modern home. It is very rare to find dividers of this size and they are very desirable and would make a great statement in a home.
