A pair of reclaimed internal, glazed, painted pine French doors. The doors have a nice look and each door has10 glazed panels and a rebated edge so they sit nicely together. The doors have been glazed with clear glass, however much of the glass DOES NOT meet current safety requirements and purchaser WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE GLASS. Three panels have a safety glass stamp but the rest are not toughened. One panel has a crack. We can re-glaze the doors with toughened glass or apply a safety film so the glass will meet regulations (the cracked panel will need replacing). Please contact us to discuss options for the glass and a quote. The doors are suited for internal use or an area that is protected from weather. The doors are in useable condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The paint has some red stains, marks and chips and the doors will need stripping and repainting by purchaser. The pine has some knocks and chips and there are holes left from hardware removal. We can patch repair hardware holes for an extra charge, please contact us for a quote. The base of the door has been trimmed at some point and the bottom mortise and tenon joint has been cut away. One door has a crack or split at the bottom of the outside rail but the door is stable. The hinges have some surface rust and tarnish. The door heights may need very slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have attractive and popular design and will make a nice feature within the home.
