A pair of five panel, reclaimed, Arts and Crafts internal stripped pine doors. The doors are well made, with mortise and tenon joints and have a nice design of the era, with two panels over a larger panel and two further panels below this. The panels are recessed and have decorative mouldings around them. The doors have been stripped but the pine has stains, marks and scratches and purchaser will need to re-sand and finish the doors to suit. One door has a groove running down the outer edge where draught excluder tape was placed. The doors are in good solid condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The doors have some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. The main lock holes do not quite line up and therefore purchaser may wish to have the holes patch repaired. We can patch repair larger hardware holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. There are some scratches, thin surface splits, knocks and chips. Some smaller hardware holes, joint separation and wood knots have been filled and the filler is visible. One lock hole has been patch repaired The pine has some staining and marks. The hinges have surface rust and will need replacing. There is slight colour variation between the doors. The door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a very nice look, ideal for both period or modern homes and would be good for dividing a room or for adding period character.
