Two reclaimed, original Victorian, Arts and Crafts style pitch pine internal doors for use as a pair. The doors have an interesting period appearance with each door having 6 recessed panels. One face has pencil beading and the other face has routed detailing. The doors were used individually but can be set up for use as a pair. In order for the doors to be set up as a pair one door will need the hinge slots and hardware holes patch repairing. We can patch repair holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The doors have been waxed but there is some discolouration and colour variation and purchaser may wish to sand and re-finish the doors to suit. The wood has a very interesting grain and the doors are solid and well constructed. The doors are reclaimed and therefore have some signs of use and wear, as expected of antique items. There are some knocks and chips to the pine and some deep scratches. The doors have some holes and marks where hardware has been removed. The top panels have some splits but they are solid and stable within the door. There two small holes or knocks visible along the edges of the doors. Door hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. Door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a great deal of character and would make a nice feature in the home.
