A pair of elegant reclaimed Arts and Crafts painted pine internal doors with Art Nouveau stained glass. The doors are likely to date to C.1910 and have a very attractive appearance. Each door has four recessed panels with planked detailing and two arched panels fitted with pretty stained glass. The Art Nouveau glass has a style typical of the era and features orange, blue and purple glass. The glass does have some breaks but we can organise for the glass to be repaired for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. One face of each door has been painted and the other face has been varnished but there are scratches, marks and chips on both faces and purchaser will need to sand and re-finish the doors to suit. The doors are solid, heavy and well made with some signs of use and age, as expected of reclaimed antique items. The doors have some knocks and chips and some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair larger hardware holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The paint has some chips and marks and there are some deep scratches, scuffs and marks on the varnished side. One door has some slight damage from a knock to the varnished side. Door heights will need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors are lovely example of design from the Arts and Crafts / Art Nouveau era and will make a fantastic addition to the home.
