A closely matched pair of reclaimed, Victorian, four panel stripped pine internal doors. The doors have a traditional design with two larger recessed panels over two smaller panels, with decorative mouldings and they are solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints. The doors were not originally a pair but are closely matched with a very slight difference to the thickness of the decorative mouldings around the panels. The doors have been stripped and purchaser can add a waxed finish if desired. The doors are in reclaimed condition with some signs of age and use, as expected of antique items. The doors have some knocks and chips and some small holes in the panel mouldings. There are some larger holes, marks and slight damage left from hardware removal. We can patch repair larger holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. One door has had patch repairs previously as it has had a lock on both sides during its lifetime. The door hinges will need to be changed. The doors have some small surface splits that do not affect their structural integrity. The door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a very nice traditional appearance and are in solid condition, making them ideal for adding period character to a home.
