A pair of very elegant, reclaimed, antique oak doors of the ideal size for a pantry, larder or cupboard. The doors have a beautiful design with carved detailing. The top panels are ash or a similar wood and have carved linenfold detailing. Each door has four further recessed panels under the carved panels that are oak and the framework is also oak. The front face of the doors have a lime waxed finish giving the doors a very nice pale, rustic appearance. The back face has raised and fielded panels and a faded dark wood stain. The doors have a rebated inner edge so they sit nicely together. The doors are in good reclaimed condition with some signs of age and use, as expected of antique items. There is some evidence of treated woodworm. The wood has some light discolouration and staining and there are some holes and marks left from door furniture removal. The front has some small scratches, marks and some small holes. The back face of the doors have some scratches, light splintering and fading to the varnish. The door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a fine period appearance and they would make a fantastic feature in a home.
