Two reclaimed six panel pine internal doors for use as a pair. The doors are of a good quality, made with mortise and tenon joints and are in the Victorian style with six recessed panels. We believe the doors to be approximately 30 - 40 years old. Each door has three heavy, good quality, brass hinges, however please note that the hinges are set up on differing sides to each other. One door will have to have the hinges removed, the hinge slots patch repaired and the hinges then fitted to the side of the door that is required, to match the other door. We can patch repair the hinge slots for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The doors currently do not have a rebate but we could add beading to make rebated inner edges, for a small extra charge, please ask for details. The doors have had a varnished or waxed finish at some point but if required, purchaser could sand and re-finish the doors to suit.
The doors are in very good reclaimed condition with some signs of use, as expected. The doors have some holes and marks left from hardware removal. There are some scratches, marks, small knocks, surface splits and chips to the pine. -The doors have some wood knots and small holes where the knot has broken away. The door heights will need levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors are of a good quality and of a design that would suit both period and modern interiors, making them desirable items for the home.
