DP0403 TWO 4 PANEL STRIPPED PINE INTERNAL DOORS FOR USE AS A PAIR

Code: DP0403

SOLD

Two reclaimed four panel stripped pine internal doors, for use as a pair, likely to date to C.1900. The doors have a traditional design with two larger recessed panels over two smaller panels, one face has decorative mouldings. The doors are solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints. The pine was stripped some time ago but there are stains, marks and scratches and the doors will need to be re-sanded by purchaser to even out the finish. The doors are in reclaimed condition with some signs of age and use, as expected of antique items. One door has two large splits to the central rail. We will repair this with wood glue for sale. There are some holes and slight damage from hardware removal. There are some chips, knocks and surface splits in the pine but the doors are solid. Some wood knot holes have been filled. One door has a small notch cut out where the lock was positioned. The door heights will need levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a very nice traditional appearance, making them ideal for adding period character to a home.

Width per door 86cm & 85.8cm

Door heights 206.8cm (lowest height - doors will need levelling to this)
