A pair of elegant and attractive, reclaimed, Victorian pine doors fitted with stained glass panels. The doors can be used internally or externally and have a nice appearance with flush panels on the external face and recessed panels on the internal face. The doors have been fitted with Art Nouveau stained glass panels with a simple and pretty pattern. The glass has nice colours in green, yellow and blue and has a swag design. The stained glass is surrounded by clear glass and the lead is solid and stable. The panels have a lovely shape at the bottom and top that add to the elegant design of the doors. The doors are very well made with mortise and tenon joints and each door has simple and useful parliament hinges. The wood has been varnished but has some marks and scratches and purchaser may wish to sand and re-finish the doors to suit. The doors are in good solid condition with some signs of age and wear. The glass is in good condition with no breaks or cracks but there are some small imperfections, as expected. The hinges have some residue paint and surface rust. The doors have some small knocks and cracks and there are some surface splits, especially to the panels but they are solid. One door has some surface splits in the panel below the glass. One door has had a good quality patch repair where there was a wood knot. There are some cracks in the glazing putty. The tenon joint at the top of each door, on the hinge edge, appear to have snapped. These will be repaired, free of charge, for sale. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a lovely period appearance and they would make a great showpiece for a home.
