A pair of elegant reclaimed painted pine doors with stained glass panels. The doors can be used internally or externally and have a nice appearance with raised and fielded panels on the external face and they have been well made with mortise and tenon joints. The doors are a more recent copy of original doors and the original glass was fitted into the newer doors. The glass has a simple and attractive design with clear glass that is surrounded by textured green glass in pretty shapes that frame the clear glass. The glass has solid and sturdy lead glazing bars. The doors have a rebated edge allowing them to sit nicely together and each door has a drip bar at the base. The doors have a key for the lock but door hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. The outside face of the doors have been painted in a dark green and the inside face white. The paint has chipping and marks and purchaser will need to sand and re-paint the doors to suit. The doors are in good solid condition with some signs of age and wear. The drip bars at the base of both doors have damage and softness and purchaser may wish to replace these or remove them if the doors are to be used internally. The pine has some knocks and chips. There are some holes and marks left from door hardware removal. There are some small scratches to the glass and some slight paint residue to the glass and lead bars. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a lovely appearance and they would make a very nice showpiece for a home.
