Two pairs of thick and heavy, modern, reclaimed hardwood doors that could be used as a set of 4 room dividers and are suitable for internal use only. The doors have an elegant appearance and are made of a hardwood, perhaps iroko. Each door has a veneered panel that is raised and fielded, with decorative beading around the edges and a large panel above, ready for glazing. The set of four doors comprises of two pairs, one pair slightly wider than the other, and the centre pair have a rebated edge so the sit nicely together when closed. The doors would be ideal for making a room divider or for perhaps a library or pantry.
The doors have a scumble paint effect but there are some chips, marks and scuffs and purchaser may wish to strip and repaint the doors to suit. The doors are in good reclaimed condition with some signs of use, as expected. The doors have some knocks and chips. The glazing bars are not fixed as the doors will need glazing. Some of the doors have holes in the side edges, at the base, where bolts have been removed and the tops have some small holes from hardware removal. We could patch repair the larger holes at the bases of the doors for an extra charge, please contact us for a quote. The door heights may need slight levelling. The doors are versatile and well made and will add great character to a home.
