A pair of reclaimed, attractive, heavy and chunky teak doors for internal or external use. The doors have a nice appearance, with each one having a raised and fielded panel, with beading, at the base. The top of the doors each have 5 panels, four small and one large, ready for glazing. The panels have glazing bead, some of which is new. The space for glass is quite wide so it can accommodate toughened glass. We can glaze the doors for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The doors have rebated inner edges so they fit nicely together.
The doors are in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected of antique items. The doors have holes and marks left from hardware removal and there is some damage where a handle was removed. The teak has some cracks and surface splits. The doors have some scratches, marks and discolouration. There are some knocks and chips. One door has had a patch repair to the top rail. Some of the glazing bead is new. The hinge slots can be seen slightly when looking at one face of the doors. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have been well made and are solid and heavy. The doors have a nice appearance and would make a lovely feature for a home.
