A pair of reclaimed hardwood glazed doors. The reclaimed modern doors are joinery made and of a good quality. The doors have a Georgian style design and have an attractive arched top. The doors each have a recessed panel at the base and above this, wooden beading that forms 8 panels on each side. The doors are glazed and each door has been glazed with a single sheet of glass which is either 6mm plate glass or 7mm laminated safety glass. The glass should meet current safety regulations but you MUST CHECK with your builder that the glass will pass regulations before use. The doors have been partially sanded. One side has been hand sanded but some paint residue can be seen. The other side retains its original paint. The paint has marks and chips and purchaser may with to sand the doors and finish them to suit. The doors are in good solid condition but there are some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The base panels were damaged and have been replaced. The base of the doors have some knocks and chips and there is some slight damage to the base corner of one door where it has been knocked and a small piece of wood has broken away. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. The side heights of the doors differ slightly. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors are thick, heavy and well made and could be used for internal or external use. The doors have a very nice appearance and are ideal for adding character to a home.
