Dimensions:
A pair of tall, reclaimed, hardwood storm doors for external use. The doors are thick, heavy and have a nice design. The doors each have four recessed panels, in differing sizes, with mouldings. One door has a hole for a letter plate. The doors have a rebated inner edge so they sit nicely together when closed and the front face of the doors have a drip bar. The front face of the doors have a dark varnish or stain and the back face of the doors is stripped or has an oiled finish. The back face has colour variation, staining and marks and you may wish to sand and re-finish the doors to suit.
The doors are in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of wear and some damage, as expected of antique items. The front face rebated inner edge has some damage at the top and some has completely broken away in the centre and damage can be seen on both sides. There are marks and holes from hardware removal. There is some damage to the edges of the letter plate hole, on both faces of the door. The drip bar has a crack. The wood has some knocks and chips. The panels have some cracks but they are stable. The back face of the doors have colour variation, staining and marks. The top and bottom of one door has some damage, that can be seen on the internal face, where wood has broken away. The door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a very nice period appearance and are well made and will make a great feature for a home.
