A pair of very elegant, reclaimed, Neo-Georgian painted pine doors for external use. The doors have a very attractive period design with gunstock stiles and a recessed panel at the base of each door. The panels have beading surrounding them and this is painted green on one face. Each door has 10 panels, glazed with clear glass which is surrounded by elegant glazing bars. PLEASE NOTE: The glass has paint residue on it and THE GLASS WILL NOT MEET CURRENT SAFETY REQUIREMENTS and MUST BE CHANGED BEFORE USE. We can re-glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The inner edges of the doors have a rebated edge so they sit nicely together when closed.
The doors are in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of use and age, as expected. The pine has some knocks and chips. There are some holes, notches and marks in the centre and top of the doors from hardware removal. The doors have been painted cream but the paint has some chipping and stains and the doors will need sanding and re-painting. The door heights may need slight levelling. The hinges have some tarnish. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a lovely appearance and would make a very nice feature for a home.
