A set of 3, reclaimed, painted pine room divider doors, suitable for internal use. The doors are likely to be French and have an elegant period appearance. The doors are set up to have two doors attached with hinges, with one folding when opened and one door that is designed to sit on the other side and has a lock, but please note there is no key. Each door has two raised and fielded panels at the base, with chamfered detailing around them. Above the solid panels are three small panels, glazed with purple and green embossed glass and above these are larger panels ready for glazing. Please note one door is also missing a green glass panel which will need replacing and you may therefore wish to change all the smaller panels. We can re-glaze the doors for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The doors have been painted cream and white but the paint has flaking, cracking and stains and you will need to sand and re-paint the doors to suit.
The doors are in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of use and age, as expected. The pine has some knocks and chips. There are holes and marks from hardware removal. The hinges have surface rust. The glazing putty is missing in many areas and it will need to be re-done when the doors are glazed. Please see pictures for condition details. The divider doors have a very elegant look and would make a fantastic feature in a home and are ideal for a project.
