A pair of elegant, reclaimed, stripped pine French doors suitable for interior use. The doors have a very nice period design with flush panels at the base with beading detail. Each door has a large panel for glazing, with a pretty arched detail at the top and bottom of each panel. We can glaze the doors for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The pine has been stripped and has a nice colour and grain. The outer edges of the doors have a thin groove that runs up the middle, please see the last 2 pictures for details.
The doors are in reclaimed condition and have some damage and signs of age, as expected of antique items. There are some holes and marks from hardware removal. The doors have some knocks and chips and some damage to the top corners and edges. The pine has some surface splits and cracks. There is some slight separation to some of the joints. The edges of the glazing panels have some roughness. The pine has some colour variation, staining and some slight paint residue. The doors have had some peg joints added and there is a patch repair to the base where there was some damage to a door. The doors have had some wood filler applied in places. The door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a very elegant appearance and they would make a very nice period feature for a home.
