Dimensions:
A pair of heavy and solidly made pine doors for internal or external use. The doors have a nice design with each door having a solid flush panel at the base and 8 panels fitted with clear glass. The glass has the safety mark BS.6206 T. A. 135. The inside face of the doors have elegant glazing bead surrounding the glass and the outside face has glazing putty. The doors have been partially painted but the paint is of differing colours, patchy and missing in places where hinges have been removed and you will need to sand and re-finish the doors to suit.
The doors are in solid condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The doors have some knocks and chips and the pine has some surface splits. One door has some gouges to one of the top corners. There is a large wood knot with the centre coming away. One door has a small hole in it (see picture 14). The doors have had some new glazing putty which is unpainted and there are some cracks to the original glazing putty in places. There are some holes and marks where door furniture has been removed. The joints on the side edges of the doors stick out very slightly in places. The outside edges of the doors have some thick metal pins that you may need to remove. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a nice traditional appearance and are a useful and attractive addition to a home.
