Dimensions:
A set of four reclaimed painted pine bi-fold doors. The doors are tall and nicely made and have a good period look with each door having two recessed panels and a panel at the top for glazing. We can glaze the doors for an EXTRA CHARGE. The doors have parliament hinges on the outside edges and the doors are designed to sit with two doors on each side that are hinged together and the inner doors have closing beads on the inner edges so they sit nicely together when closed. The doors are currently 254cm high but they could be re-sized to approximately 200cm if the top glazing panel is cut away and the base rail is reduced in height. We could re-size the doors and also remove the solid centre panels and glaze them if preferred, for an EXTRA CHARGE. Please contact us to discuss door re-sizing, glazing or panel removal and for a quote for your extra requirements.
The doors are painted, white on one side and cream and orange on the other side. The paint has chips, marks and flaking and you may wish to sand and re-paint the doors to suit. The doors are in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of age and damage. There are some holes, splintering and some damage where holes have been made. The base of one door has some damage where it has had a knock. There is some slight damage to the bottom of one of the closing beads. The pine has some surface splits. The hinges have some paint and tarnish on them. The door heights may need slight levelling if you wish to keep them at the current height. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors are of a great size and have very nice period character. The bi-fold doors are very desirable and will make a fantastic feature in a home.
