Code: DP0530
Dimensions:
A pair of very handsome, reclaimed, Victorian pine doors suitable for internal use. The doors are thick and heavy and are very well made with mortise and tenon joints. The doors have a very nice period design with each door having three raised and fielded panels on each face. The doors have a closing bead on the inner edges with a lock so they fit together nicely when closed. You will need to add handles to suit. The doors have been primed and undercoated, ready for you to apply a paint finish to suit.
The doors are in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of wear and age, as expected of reclaimed items. The doors have some slight damage to the inner rebate edges at the top and bottom and to one of the edges where they have been knocked. The pine has some small knocks, surface splits and chips. The doors have some holes and marks from hardware removal. Please note, the outside edges of the doors have had batons added to widen the doors and level the door edges (please see last picture for details). The lock has some paint residue on it. The door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors are ideal for dividing a room and are very desirable and have a fantastic period appearance.
