Two very handsome, reclaimed, six panel oak doors suitable for internal or external use. The doors could be used as a pair or in the same room but please note there are fractional differences in the panel measurements. The doors are tall, heavy and well made with mortise and tenon joints. Each door has six raised and fielded panels, two smaller over four longer, with beading around them. The doors have been hand sanded but one door is slightly darker than the other. If you would like us to colour match the doors by giving the darker door another sand this is available at an extra charge, please contact us for a quote.
The doors are in good solid reclaimed condition with some signs of use and age, as expected. The doors have some holes and marks from hardware removal. Each door has some patch repairs to larger holes left from hardware removal. The doors have some knocks and chips and one door has had a knock to one of the bottom corners. There are some scratches and staining to the oak. The doors have had some filler applied to some of the smaller holes. There is some very slight paint residue that can be seen in the corners and edges of the panels and joints. The hinges have some tarnish. The door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a very handsome period look and are very well made and they would make a fantastic addition to a room.
