Code: DP0583
Two matching reclaimed 5 panel painted pine doors, ideal for the same room or perhaps being used together to make a handsome pair. The doors, suitable for internal use, are solid and heavy and have a traditional appearance with each door having five raised and fielded panels with decorative mouldings around them.
The doors are matching and could be used in the same room or they could be put together to make a pair. If you wanted to use the doors as a pair you would need to level the heights. The doors will need the hinge slots patch repairing and the hinges moving as they are not currently hinged in the right way for use as a pair. You may wish to have closing bead added to the inner edges so they sit well together when closed (this will add slightly more to the overall width). We can cut the door heights to level them, patch repair hinge slots and add closing bead, for an extra charge. Please contact us for details, a quote and to discuss your requirements.
The doors are in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of use and age, as expected. The doors have some knocks, chips and indentations. There are some thin surface splits. The paint has some losses in places and some cracks. The doors have some holes and marks from hardware removal. One hinge is broken and one is coming away from the door and you will need to replace them . The door heights are likely to need levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors are well made, are of good size and have a great traditional appearance, ideal for adding character to a home.
