Dimensions:
A reclaimed solid oak door. The door is heavy and well made with mortise and tenon joints. The door has four solid flush panels, two larger over two smaller. The oak is stripped and ready for you to apply a finish to suit. The door is suited for internal or external use but please note the panels have a tongue and groove edge and can move slightly within the door. If the door is to be used externally then a clear sealant will need to be applied around the panel edges to seal it against weather. Please contact us if you need any further information about this.
The door is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of age and some damage, as expected. The door has some knocks and chips and there is some light damage to one top corner where the door has been knocked. There is some slight damage along the hinge edge. There is a slight split at the top of the door. The door has some small holes and there are some holes, marks and indentations left from the removal of door hardware. The hinges will need replacing as one is missing and the others are pin hinges and the other parts of the hinges are missing. Some small cracks to some filler can be seen around the panel edges. The door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a good traditional appearance and would make a nice feature for a home.
