A very pretty set of Art Nouveau cupboard doors in a mahogany frame. The set comprises of two large and two smaller doors that have hinges that are set in to the mahogany frame. The doors are glazed and have a lovely flower design, typical of the era, using Vaseline glass which was used mostly in America in the early 20th century. The flowers are surrounded by plain and textured glass and the lead glazing bars form part of the decorative design. The framework is designed to be attached to the front of a cupboard and the top of the frame has a larger mahogany top piece. The doors are in good antique condition but do have some signs of wear due to age. The doors can only be fitted one way as the hinge holes are specific to the hinge. One keyhole is upside down and the key hole is thrown out of alignment and therefore a new lock is needed. There are some light scratches and marks to the frame. There are a few small cracks in the glass, including one to a purple flower, please see pictures for details. The doors are unusual and have a very attractive look, ideal for making a decorative showpiece in the home.

Due to the delicate nature of the glass collection is recommended and preferred.
