A large set of, reclaimed, painted pine shutters with 8 leaves, likely to date to the early 20th Century. The shutters open in the centre (4 leaves on each side) and have a rebated edge allowing them to sit nicely together. On one face the shutters have two recessed panels per leaf and the outer shutters have pencil mouldings. The other face of the shutters have flat panels. There is a small stay catch on one side, other hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. The shutters have been painted white but there are some scratches, marks, cracks and stains and the shutters will need to be sanded and re-painted by purchaser to suit. The shutters are in good antique condition with some signs of wear, as expected of age. The outer hinges will need changing. There are some knocks, chips and some slight damage, especially to the edges. There are some small notches from hardware removal. Please see pictures for condition details. The shutters have a lovely period appearance and would be a fantastic addition to the home.
