A pair of reclaimed Victorian painted pine window shutters comprising of seven leaves, with four to sit on one side and three on the other side. Each side is hinged together and the smaller leaves are designed to fold back behind the slightly larger leaves with decorative beading. There is a rebated edge so the shutters sit nicely together. The shutters have been painted white but there are some stains, knocks and chips to the paint and purchaser may wish to sand and re-paint them to suit. The shutters are reclaimed and therefore have some signs of wear and age. The right hand larger leaf has some damage to the top corner and the larger left hand leaf has a split at the base. There are some knocks, marks, chips and surface splits, especially to the edges and corners. The shutter heights may need levelling. The hinges have some surface rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The shutters have a lovely period appearance and would make a fantastic addition to the home.
