A pair of large reclaimed Victorian painted pine window shutters comprising of four leaves, with two to sit on one side of the window and two on the other side. Each side is hinged together and the middle leaves are designed to fold back behind the outer leaves with the decorative beading. There is a rebated edge so the shutters sit nicely together when closed. The shutters have been painted with a white chalk paint but there are some stains, knocks and chips and the chalk paint leaves residue and purchaser may wish to sand and re-paint them to suit. The shutters are reclaimed and therefore have some signs of wear and age. The shutters have some notches out of the wood, knocks and slight damage, especially to the edges and corners. The heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The shutters have a lovely period appearance and would make a fantastic addition to the home.
