A pair of reclaimed Victorian painted pine window shutters comprising of four leaves, plus two slim outer edge sections, with two leaves to sit on one side of the window and two on the other side. Each side is hinged together and they are designed to fold back once opened. There is a rebated edge so the shutters sit nicely together when closed and the shutters have a large stay bar. The shutters have been painted white but there are some stains, knocks, flaking and chips and they will need to be sanded and re-painted by purchaser to suit. The shutters are reclaimed and therefore have some signs of wear and age. The pine has some knocks and damage, especially to the edges and corners. Some of the top corners have damage where they have sustained a knock and the wood is cracked or split. There are some uneven edges to the corners. The heights might need slight levelling. Some of the hinges are broken and they will need replacing. One shutter has a thin cut out at its base. Please see pictures for condition details. The shutters have a lovely period appearance and would make a fantastic addition to the home.
