Two reclaimed, original, painted pine Victorian shutters. The shutters each have three leaves that are hinged together and can be folded back. The taller shutter has three recessed panels on each leaf, with decorative mouldings to the front face. The smaller shutter has one recessed panel on each leaf. The shutters could be used as a bifold door approx 27" x 78". The shutters have been painted in a pale green colour but you could sand and re-paint the shutters to suit. Both shutters have a rebate on one edge that can be cut away by purchaser if required. The taller shutter has some small slide catches.
The shutters are antique and therefore have some character signs of age and wear. Both shutters have some knocks and chips. The smaller shutter had been cut down in size and one end has some knocks and chips out of it. The paint of both shutters has stains, chips and marks. Both shutters have some small holes and marks where hardware has been removed. The taller shutter may need the height levelling slightly. Please see pictures for condition details. The taller shutter is of a good size for using as an en-suite door or perhaps for a pantry. The shutters have a classic and elegant period appearance and are ideal for an interior project.
