A set of four satinwood or tulipwood shutters. The shutters were made for a project but never used and are of a good quality and design. Each shutter has two large recessed panels and a smaller centre panel. The shutters are not attached but have been designed to be used with two leaves on each side, opening in the centre and one shutter to fold back behind the other. The outer edge of the outer shutters are square and you would add standard butt hinges to attach them to the wall. The edges where the two shutters meet have a tongue and groove so they slot nicely together and you could add surface mounted hinges to attach them so the tongue and groove works efficiently. The inner edges of the two inner shutters are rebated so they sit nicely when shut. Please contact us for advice if you need information on how they should be hinged and if you need advice about where to get surface mounted hinges from.
The wood has had a high quality white spray paint finish but please note there are some dark marks and scratches from storage that will need cleaning or the paint touching up. The shutters are very tall but each shutter could be cut in to two shutters of approximately 100cm - 103cm each (removing the centre panel), making 8 shutters in total. Please contact us to discuss this if you wish to have the shutters cut (extra charge). The shutters are very nice items and would be fantastic for an interior project.
Total width of four shutters 107.7cm approx
Width per shutter (excluding rebated edges) 27.4cm, 26.4cm, 27.2cm, 26.8cm
