A pair of reclaimed Victorian painted pine window shutters comprising of five leaves, with three to sit on one side of the window and two on the other side. Each side is hinged together and the middle leaves are designed to fold back behind the outer leaves with the decorative beading. There is a rebated edge so the shutters can sit nicely together when closed. The shutters have been painted white but there are some stains, knocks and cracking and purchaser will need to sand and re-paint them to suit. The shutters are reclaimed and therefore have some signs of wear and age. The shutters do not currently sit flat easily when closed and some work may be required by purchaser to make them sit correctly. The pine has some knocks and slight damage, especially to the edges and corners. The heights may need slight levelling. There is a hole left from handle removal. The hinges have some surface rust and may need changing. Please see pictures for condition details. The shutters have a lovely period appearance and would make a nice addition to the home.
Width of pair 106.5cm approx.
Width of each side (3 leaves) 60cm & (2 leaves) 45cm excluding rebated edge. Approx
Height 85.5cm approx
