A very nice, reclaimed, pine church pew. The pew has a traditional design with a plank detail back and high sides. The top of the side pieces have ogee mouldings. The back edge of the pew has the traditional book rest and there is a pine bead at the front of the pew seat. The pine has been stripped and it is ready for you to apply a wax finish if you wish. Please note, the pine was stripped using a strip tank and therefore the pine is not suitable for painting. The pew is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of use and age, as expected. The pine has some small knocks, chips and splits. There are some small gouges in one area. The pine has some stains and marks. There is some evidence of old woodworm in areas. Please see pictures for condition details. The pew is of a good size, ideal for pairing with a suitable table or for use in a hallway or reception room and has a very nice traditional appearance, ideal for adding character to a space.
