A reclaimed, petite, cast iron fire basket. The fire basket has a simple and traditional style design with curved ribs and cabriole legs. The fire basket includes an ashpan with pull handle. The grill is in good solid condition. The iron has been sprayed with a heatproof matt black paint. The basket is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected. The iron has some small knocks, casting marks and scratches. There are some very small patches of surface rust that can be seen on the grill and inside the ashpan. Please see pictures for condition details. The basket has a simple and classic design that would suit both modern and period properties and it is of a nice petite size.
