A large reclaimed farmhouse / country style pine fire surround. The surround has a classic design with plain mantel and curved corbels underneath. The surround has chunky feet with mouldings at the top. The wood has been hand sanded but the pine has some staining and marks and you could paint the fire surround if desired. The surround is ideal for framing a cast iron insert and is of a good size for a living or dining room. The surround is in good solid condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The pine has some staining, scratches and marks. There is a wood knot on the front edge of the mantel with some fine surface cracks in it. There are some small chips and knocks and some shallow gouges on the legs. One of the side edges of the mantel has some some wood filler or a nail in it. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire surround is ideal for a country style room and has a good traditional design, ideal for finishing a fireplace nicely.
