Three stunning, reclaimed, oak sections of panelling. The panelling, originating from France has a beautiful rustic appearance with faded patches of paintwork and mouldings that have a pretty shaped top. The main part of each panel is constructed using oak planks. The panels have a pit sawn back highlighting their considerable age. The panelling is ideal for wall décor, to be made into a screen or cupboard doors. The panels are of a good size and could, with some work, also be turned into doors. We could tidy the panels and add ply backs, for an extra charge, so they can be used as internal doors. Please contact us if you would like further information and a quote.
The oak panels are reclaimed and therefore have some character signs of age and some damage. There is some evidence of old woodworm which is now likely to be dead. There are some cracks in the oak and there is some slight separation to where some of the oak planks join. There are some knocks, chips, wood knots and indentations in the oak. The panelling has some patch repairs in places. One panel has some damage to a top corner, on the back face. The faded paint has great character. The back face of the panels have some staining. The panels have similar but not identical measurements and one panel is wider than the others. Please see pictures for condition details. The panels are very heavy and finely made and they have fantastic French charm, ideal for adding character to a home project.
