A handsome, reclaimed, hardwood internal / external door with gothic detailing. The door has a fantastic traditional style appearance with recessed panels and raised vertical mouldings. The top of the panels form a Gothic style arched shape. The door has very nice hardware with a Gothic style iron handle on one face and decorative iron pieces on the hinge edge that match the decorative hinges on the other face of the door. The iron hinges have a beautiful design that compliments the Gothic detailing of the door. The door has a working latch on the other side of the door to the handle and there is a receiver included for the latch to sit onto. The wood has been varnished or stained and has a good, deep, colour.
The door is in solid condition with some signs of use and some damage, as expected of reclaimed items. The door has some knocks and chips and one edge has a knock and there is a split in the wood. The door has had some patch repairs carried out to fill hardware holes. The door has some small holes and some wood knots. The hinge edge has some damage where hinges were removed and the top corner has a knock. One panel has a some wood filler missing to the edge. The hardwood has some marks and scratches. The door hardware has some tarnish. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very nice gothic appearance with an abundance of character and it would make a very nice feature in a home.
