A very large, wide, reclaimed antique French oak door. The door has three panels for glazing and there are a further 6 solid raised and fielded panels below these. The door is very rustic and has a great deal of charm but due to age the door is now suited to decorative internal use. The door would be perfect for glazing with mirror glass and using as a stunning décor item, for using as a cupboard door or perhaps a decorative prop or feature within a rustic room. The original door furniture is present, with metal handles and bolts, all adding original charm to the door. The door has a great deal of character from age and wear. The base of the door has some rust, softness from rot and some treated wood worm holes and therefore the door is best for decorative use or a cupboard. The paintwork has chips and flaking, there is some discolouration and the door hardware has surface rust. There are some rough edges, holes and surface splits. The door is not square and height and width may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details.
