An attractive stripped pine door, suitable for internal or external use. The door, dating to C.1890-1900, is well made and has elegant gunstock stiles. The door has two panels at the base, flush on one side and recessed on the other. The top of the door has a large panel for glazing. We can glaze the door for an EXTRA CHARGE. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The pine has been hand stripped and is ready for you to apply a finish to suit. 

The door is reclaimed and has some signs of use and age, as expected. The door has had some patch repairs to holes left by door furniture removal and one hole has some old wood filler. Some smaller holes and knocks have had wood filler applied. The door has had some of the glazing bead replaced. There is some damage to one of the edges, near the base of the door, where there is a split and a gouge. One of the joints at the top of the door has separated slightly. There is a split and some damage on the lock edge. The hinge edge has a split near the top of the door. The door has some surface cracks and knocks. The pine has some marks and scratches. The door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a very nice period item and it will make a lovely feature for a home.
