A reclaimed, late Victorian, Gothic revival, exterior pine door and frame. The door, dating to approx 1875-1880, is ideal for a garden courtyard, shed or garden building. The door and frame have a fantastic appearance, with an arched top, typical of the Gothic style. The external face of the door is painted black and the internal face, white. The door is planked and has a ledge and brace construction to the back face. The frame is solid and thick and the door has metal hinge straps, all other hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. The door is in good condition with some signs of use, as expected of reclaimed antiques. The paint has chips, marks and flakes and will need stripping and repainting. There are holes and marks where hardware has been removed. There are some marks and chips to the pine, especially to one corner. The frame has a patch repair to one shoulder. The sides of the frame have some reside paint or filler. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a very nice example of Victorian Gothic design and has an abundance of charm and character.
