A reclaimed painted pine four panel internal door, likely to date to C. 1890-1900. The door is well made and has a traditional design with four recessed panels with decorative beading around them. The door has been painted white but there are some chips and some marks to the paint and purchaser may wish to sand and re-paint the door to suit. The door is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of its age. The door has some holes, marks and some damage from hardware removal. There are some knocks and chips to the pine and the door has some damage to the lock edge, where the lock was removed. The lock edge has a deep line, on both sides of the door, where there is perhaps some repaired damage or surface splits, but the door is stable. The brass door hardware has some tarnish. The door has a twist to the top corner on the hinge edge, when checking diagonally from lock edge bottom corner to top corner of the hinge edge, and is therefore only suited for interior use. The door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is ideal for a period home and has a nice traditional design.
