An elegant, reclaimed, Victorian style stripped pine door fitted with very pretty stained glass. The door is a good quality reproduction of Victorian styles and is very heavy and made of a dense pine. The door has a traditional design with two recessed panels at the base, with bolection moulding on one face and decorative mouldings that are flush with the door on the other face. The top of the door has two large panels fitted with very nice stained glass. Each stained glass panel has square pieces of glass and diamond designs with flowers in the centre of them. Each panel has red border glass surrounding it. Please note: there are several breaks to the red border glass, see pictures for details. We can quote to have the cracks repaired, please contact us for details and a quote. The front of the panels holding the stained glass have enough room to accommodate clear toughened glass panels, if required. We can fit toughened glass panels in front of the stained glass for an extra charge, please contact us for details. The door has a space for a letter plate but we can patch repair the letter plate hole and lock hole, for an extra charge, should you require this. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. The pine has been stripped to bare wood and is ready for finishing by purchaser.
The door is reclaimed and has some signs of wear and use, as expected. The door has some knocks and chips and the base edge is uneven and has sustained some knocks. The door has some thin surface splits and some small holes. There are some holes and marks from hardware removal. The glass has some slight movement within the door. The glass has some natural imperfections. The flush mouldings have a differing grain to the rest of the pine. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very beautiful appearance and the stained glass is very pretty. The door would make a stunning feature in a home.
