Code: DE1058
Dimensions:
An elegant, reclaimed, front door with pretty stained glass panels. The door has a nice appearance and has been well made, with mortise and tenon joints. The door has a recessed panel with decorative mouldings around it on the external face and a raised and fielded panel with mouldings surrounding it on the internal face. The top part of the door has two panels fitted with very nice stained glass. The stained glass has greens, yellows and pinks and small clear sections, all with a textured finish. There are beautiful "jewels" in bright colours with raised flower designs and the centre has a lovely design with blues, yellows and a green jewel in the centre of one panel and an orange jewel in the centre of the other. PLEASE NOTE: The door is sold as seen with several breaks and cracks to the glass and you will need to have the glass restored. The door has a brass letterplate. The door has been painted blue grey but there are some chips, scuffs and marks and you may wish to sand and re-paint it to suit.
The door is in good solid condition and is sold as seen with some breaks to the glass. The top rail of the door has been cut and is thinner than it should be. The top joint is fine but we do recommend having a baton added to the top rail, (approx 1" in height), to level the door and make it look in proportion. We can add a baton if you wish for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The pine has some small knocks. The paint has some scuffs, marks and chips. The hinges have some tarnish. The letterplate has some small scratches. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has an elegant design and it would make a fantastic feature for a home.
