An elegant, reclaimed, internal stripped pine door fitted with a large stained glass panel. The door has a traditional design with two recessed panels at the base with decorative mouldings around them. The top of the door has been fitted with a very pretty stained glass panel with square glass in pale colours, decorative roundels and a pretty pattern in the centre and a painted nuns face in the central circle. The leadwork is in good condition. The pine has been stripped and the door has a good colour.
The door is in solid condition with some signs of age and some repaired damage. The door has had several patch repairs to hardware holes and to damage. The patches are of a paler colour but we can try to stain the patches to match the door colour, included in the price. Please let us know if you would like us to do this, although please note they may not be an exact match to the door colour. There is a split to the pine on one edge. There are some knocks, chips and surface cracks, especially to the middle section of the door. The pine has some discolouration and marks. The glazing bead is new and of a slightly lighter colour than the pine of the door. There is some slight separation to some of the door joints and there is some residue filler in some. One edge has a slight gouge out of it. One blue roundel and a thin red piece of glass has a crack and the other glass has some striations. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very nice appearance and it will make a lovely feature in a home.
