A very attractive, Victorian, pitch pine panel with a beautiful etched glass panel. The item dates to approximately C.1900. The item was presumably made originally for a pub and the glass has the name "The Swan" etched in to it. The glass also has leaf designs and a pretty border. The pine has a very attractive grain and this is highlighted in the solid panel below the glass. The glass is untouched, without cracks and the etching is clear and of a fine quality. The glass is 6mm thick. The panel is antique and therefore has some light signs of wear and use. There are some small patch repairs and the filler is visible. The panel has some small holes, chips and knocks. There are some surface cracks to the pine but the item is solid, usable and well constructed. One top corner has some knocks, please see pictures for details. A very attractive and decorative item that would be perfect for many interior projects. A desirable and well constructed antique panel.
