A set of four very large, reclaimed, Victorian pine bifold panels / room dividers. The panels are of a very rare large size and were originally used to divide a room in a Victorian home and are ideal for this purpose or perhaps for other interior projects. The dividers comprise of four sections of a similar size which are designed to open in the centre, 2 on each side that are hinged together, and can be folded back. There are small hook receivers on one face of the panels for wall mounted hooks to secure the dividers once folded. The dividers have an attractive rustic appearance and each features three recessed panels with mouldings. The dividers have been painted but the paint is old and has marks, chips and stains and they will need to be stripped by purchaser and re-painted to suit. The room dividers are in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of wear and age, as expected of antique items.  The wood has some knocks, chips and light damage, especially to the edges and corners and to one top rail. There are some surface cracks in the wood that do not affect the panels structural integrity. The hinges will need replacing. The finger plates have cracks and purchaser may wish to replace these. Please see pictures for condition details. The room dividers / bifold panels have a very elegant appearance and are perfect for a period home. It is very rare to find original Victorian dividers of this size and they are very desirable and would make a great statement in a home.
