We believe this oak door dates to c. 1880 and is a Victorian, Gothic Revival door. It is fully morticed and tenoned and has thin oak panels which will need some restoration due to some damage and that the centre rail missing on the back of the door. We believe the " British Personnel Only" sign is a WW1 addition, possibly for very thin, tall British officers!
